Geri Diaz is a senior counsel at Camacho Calvo Law Group and handles civil litigation, employment law and corporate law. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of San Francisco with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and Political Science. She is a past member of the Guam Bar Association’s Ethics Committee Investigatory Panel and a former delegate for Soroptimist International of Guam.
Geri is an alumna of St. Anthony Catholic School. In this upcoming school year, three of her family members will be attending St. Anthony Catholic school; two nephews in the 8th grade and a niece in the 4th grade. She is a parishioner at St. Anthony Church.
Scott Jacob is an alumni of St. Anthony Catholic School and is parishioner of at St. Anthony Church. His youngest daughter also attended the school and graduated in 2023.
Scott is currently employed at Guam Behavioral Health and Wellness Center as a Maintenance Specialist. Past accomplishments consists of: completing and graduating from the Ship Repair Facility, Guam Apprenticeship program as a Boilermaker and Insulator. He also completed and graduated from the Naval Base Guam Police Academy, where he became a Field Training Officer, Instructor, and Shift Lieutenant for the department.
Thelma Hart has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science. She worked for First Hawaiian Bank as a Loan Officer, Mortgage Officer, Licensed Insurance Representative and Customer Service Representative for 8 years. She is now a stay at home mom and handles five franchise owned restaurants. She has a daughter who graduated from SACS in 2020 and a son who is currently enrolled with SACS as an incoming 7th grader.Thelmader.
Tara Cruz is an Instructional Coach under Curriculum and Instruction with the Guam Department of Education. She has been an educator for 11 years with her experience in teaching at the secondary level and postsecondary level at the Guam Community College and the University of Guam. In her undergraduate years, she worked at the University of Guam Endowment foundation. She has also served on various committees within the Guam Department of Education and was a board member of the Dededo Municipality Planning Council.
Tara was born and raised on Guam. She is an alumna of the University of Guam where she received her BA in Secondary Education and English and her MA in English, Sociolinguistics. She has one son who attends St. Anthony Catholic School. Tara and her family attend the Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church and they are members of the Archdiocese of Agana ministry who devote their time to regular feedings at Kamalen Karidat.
DEFINITION
A Board of Limited Jurisdiction is a mission-driven, participatory policy-making body empowered by the Archdiocese of Agana and Saint Anthony Catholic Church to make binding decisions in specified areas of responsibility in accordance with the Board of Limited Jurisdiction Operating Principles and in keeping with the rules, regulations and vision of the Archdiocese and Canon law. Led by an Executive Committee, the Board of Limited Jurisdiction functions in collaboration with the Pastor and Principal and is advised and supported by the Office of Catholic Education.
Through the work of their committees, the Board of Limited Jurisdiction manages the following areas in compliance with the school’s Strategic Improvement Plan: Catholic Formation, Curriculum, Finance, Enrollment, Facilities and Maintenance, Stakeholder Engagement and Safety. They do NOT oversee Personnel or Student Issues.
